You found Domaine du Petit Roulet. A 16th century estate in the heart of Provence, built around century-old olive trees and cypresses, with the kind of atmosphere that took centuries to settle in. A place with real history and a human scale, where nothing needs to be arranged to look right on film. It already does.
Now you need someone who understands how a wedding breathes in a place like this, and who can turn what you are about to live into a film that carries all of it forward.

Being present, without being everywhere
What makes domaine du Petit Roulet exceptional on film is the layering of spaces. The ceremony unfolds among the olive trees, in that particular filtered light that comes through old branches in the afternoon. It is one of the most naturally cinematic settings I have filmed in Provence. The trees do something to the frame that no architecture can replicate.
Then the evening moves inside. The barn, with its historical terracotta tiles and that chandelier of fifty wicker balls suspended above the dancefloor, made by a Moroccan craftsman. The kind of detail you cannot manufacture, and that inevitably ends up in the film.
Present without interrupting
Weddings at Domaine du Petit Roulet can fill the estate completely. The one I filmed there brought together close to a hundred guests, and the energy was high from the start. The scale of the place contains that festivity well: small enough that the atmosphere stays dense, large enough that everyone has room to move.
My job is to follow that energy without shaping it. No direction, no staging. The speeches, the dancing, the moments between people caught up in something genuinely celebratory. I stay close enough to catch what is real, and far enough back to let it happen naturally.
Before filming, I listen
Planning a wedding in France from abroad means trusting people you have never met in person. I understand that.
Before anything else, we talk. Over a video call, properly. I want to understand who you are as a couple, what kind of celebration you are imagining, and what matters most to you about the day. That conversation shapes everything that comes after.
I speak English fluently and have worked with international teams many times at venues across Provence. Photographers, celebrants, planners, musicians from different countries. The coordination is smooth, the communication natural. You will not need to worry about that part.
Why Domaine du Petit Roulet works so well on film
Some venues are beautiful and generic. Petit Roulet is specific. The olive trees, the stone, the terracotta, the craftsmanship inside the barn. Every element has an origin and a texture, and textures are what cameras respond to.
The estate is also compact enough that the energy stays concentrated. A hundred guests in a space this size creates a density of atmosphere that is rare, and that density translates directly to film.
