An authentic memory

A wedding at Paris

Paris has a particular challenge. It is the most recognised backdrop in the world, and one of the hardest to film differently. Everything has been done, everything has been seen. What interests me in Paris is what escapes the obvious. The soft grey light of a June morning, a cobblestone courtyard in the Marais, a bridge at the moment the city holds its breath.

Filming a wedding in Paris means working with that tension between the monumental and the intimate. The grand hôtels particuliers, the historic reception venues, the discreet spaces only those who know the city well can find, each location in Paris creates a different kind of dialogue with what is being lived.

I haven’t yet had the opportunity to film a wedding in Paris, but it is a city I know well and observe differently since doing this work. What I look for here as everywhere else is what the day holds that is true, in a frame where every image has something to say.

A narrative built to last

I build every film like a story that rises. Not a sequence of beautiful moments strung together. A narrative. With a beginning, a tension, moments that breathe, and instants that land exactly when they should, and hit you where it matters.

What I look for is the truth. In a frame where every image has something to say.

Wherever you are, your story brings you here

I work regularly with international teams. Photographers, celebrants, musicians, planners coming from different countries. Communication stays natural, the rhythm flows, and the day unfolds the way it should.

English-speaking couples are a big part of what I do, and honestly one of my favourite parts. The speeches, the vows, the words exchanged between the people who love you most. That’s where your story lives. And that’s exactly the material I build your film around.

Based in Occitanie, between Montpellier and the Mediterranean, I travel throughout France. The setting matters. But it’s your connection that shapes the story.
