A wedding at avignon
Avignon carries the kind of intensity that only comes with history. A Provençal light, but denser, more layered. The ramparts, the stone, the sense that time moves differently here, all of it finds its way into the images before the day has even begun.
Filming a wedding in Avignon and the surrounding area means working with that strong character. The estates of the Luberon, the bastides of the Vaucluse, the mas set among vineyards and garrigue, each venue around Avignon brings a presence that becomes part of the film naturally.
I am based in Occitanie, but wherever you are getting married becomes, for that time, my home ground. What I look for in Avignon as everywhere else is what the day holds that is true, filmed with the precision of someone who leaves nothing to chance.
