Wedding at Mas de So in Provence

NOT A PHOTOGRAPHER | WEDDING FILMS

You found Mas de So. The 19th-century Provençal mas, the extraordinary glass orangerie that changes completely as the light shifts through the day, the vineyards of the Gard stretching in every direction. A place that has made a bold architectural choice and carried it off. There is nothing quite like it in the region.

Now you need someone who understands how a wedding breathes in a place like this, and who can turn what you are about to live into a film that carries all of it forward.

That is what I do.

A way of being present, without taking over

Mas de So has a quality of light that changes through the day more dramatically than almost anywhere I film. The orangerie can be a winter garden in the morning and a room full of reflected sky by evening. That movement is exceptional material for a film.

I follow that without interrupting it. The speeches, the vows, the words the people who love you find to say out loud. That is where the story lives. And that is exactly what I build your film around.

I work regularly with international teams here. Communication stays natural, the day unfolds the way it should. You will not need to worry about that part.

Before filming, I listen

Planning a wedding in France from the UK means trusting people you have never met in person. I understand that.

Before anything else, we talk. Over a video call, properly. I want to understand who you are as a couple, what matters to you, what kind of day you are imagining. That conversation shapes everything that comes after.

This connection allows me to be in the right place at the right moment, without ever having to interrupt what is happening. The result is a film that feels true. Not because it follows a formula, but because it follows you.

Why Mas de So works so well on film

I am based in Occitanie, an hour from Mas de So. The contrast between the historic Provençal mas and the contemporary glass and mirror orangerie is unlike anything else in the region. As the light shifts through the day, the space transforms. That makes for exceptional images at every hour.

In the heart of the Gard vineyards, between Avignon and Nîmes, thirty minutes from the TGV station, Mas de So has made a bold architectural choice without losing its Provençal roots. That tension is something a camera responds to naturally.

What matters most is not the setting. It is what happens within it. At Mas de So, the two tend to work together beautifully. My role stays the same: to be there, discreetly, and tell these moments as they are.
